Low Cost Spay/Neuter Services - Central Oregon

Date: Jul 2, 2016

These clinics provide low cost spay & neuter services for cats.

Bend Spay/Neuter: info@bendsnip.org.  Low cost services.  May consider waiving fees for feral or stray cats.  Note that they no longer have an adoption program, so you must take the animal(s) back (TNR).  Otherwise, cats will be sent to the HSCO Bend shelter.  Also please note that they no longer vaccinate TNR cats at no cost, but this should be done for the protection of the cats and others in the neighborhood.

Crooked Tails Vet Clinic: info@crookedtails.com.  Prineville. The original low-cost spay/neuter clinic in Central Oregon.  It has changed hands so their programs might be different.  Contact for details.

Hometown Animal Hospital: 541 447 5219.  Prineville.  They have a free program for spay/neuter of feral cats and pit bull breed/mix dogs.  Mostly they serve Crook County, but call for more information.

Companion Pet Clinic, Bend.  541 388 0262.  A regular vet clinic but they offer spay/neuter of cats for much less than most other area vets charge.  They also will handle trapped or feral cats when most vets won't.  They have helped thousands of cats for CRAFT over the years.  Not free, but have more reasonable fees than most for spay/neuter and other medical procedures.

PLEASE NOTE that we cannot make any representations regarding these clinics' services or fees.  This information is based on our experience.  If you have used different veterinarians in the past, find out if they will give you a break.  Please check around or otherwise do your research.

Thank you for caring about the homeless, abandoned, abused, at-risk or otherwise forgotten cats of this area.
